The gifts of our lives

are fairness and laughter, so

listen well and be

It was during a Seedbed session on writing skills about three or four years ago that I first started working on this haiku (5-7-5-syllable pattern). It’s taken that long to get something which I feel is right for me. What do you think?  Would you change it for you in any way? How would your own haiku go? Tell me, I’m interested.

    • Well, I actually found it harder to write the positive one, that’s why it took 4 years, unfairness and sorrow do seem to be more our lot and yet there are moments, even periods of gladness. Is it what you were saying about yin and yang. Much to ponder and discuss here, as they say. Thanks, Ginny.
